Ten for the Show

They say diamonds are made under pressure. I'd like to think that when I have a deadline I can make diamonds. Here are the new works (any on cradled panels have painted edges) that I'll be debuting at the Claresholm Willow Creek Art Show this coming weekend ...

  1. Oh how lovely, Alice - those irises are magnificent, and that Midnight Magic is beyond stunning. Diamonds under pressure, indeed. I love the way Bob stands on out that background and the way Big Daddy LIVES in those trees. The butterflies are delightful as well; that monarch is filled with light.       I've been a serious classical painter for decades. It was time to venture forth, to step out from the traditional and marry it with mixed media - let the good times roll!
